Used goods serve as an alternative to meet primary and secondary needs, particularly among lower-middle-income communities, although they are also increasingly favored by higher income groups. This study aims to compare consumer purchase interest in second-hand goods between Indonesia and Japan. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was used, involving consumers from both countries. The findings show a high interest in used goods, with the number of buyers exceeding that of sellers. However, challenges such as inaccurate product information and quality mismatches persist in the buying process. Overall, purchase interest in Japan is higher than in Indonesia, supported by more advanced digital platforms. These findings indicate that second-hand products hold significant market potential in both developing and developed countries.
Fajar Mudzoffar Addya, Citra Savitri, Dedy mulyadi, Budi Rismayadi, Lee Bun ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/workflow/index/1015/5 http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/1015 Wed, 06 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Millennial Mothers, Modern Dilemmas: A Work-Family Conflict Perspective in West Java http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/1022
This study aims to explore the experience of Work-Family Conflict (WFC) among millennial married women with children in West Java through a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The research method involved in-depth interviews with seven purposively selected participants, focusing on subjective narratives regarding time-based conflicts, emotional tensions, behaviours, as well as triggering factors such as lack of system support and children's conditions. The results revealed that WFC is experienced in a multidimensional way, with time-based conflict and emotional strain being the main challenges, while the transfer of disciplinary behaviour from work to family was also a significant phenomenon. The findings suggest the need for more flexible organisational policies and psychological support to reduce the impact of WFC. In conclusion, this study provides an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of WFC in millennial women who are married and have children in West Java, emphasising the importance of cultural and social context in the management of this conflict.

Juniar Alisa, Rubi'ah Sugiarti, Prahita Sri Rahayuningrat, Nadya Ayu Lestari ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/workflow/index/1022/5 http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/1022 Tue, 05 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis Of The Effect Of Pull And Push On Entrepreneurial Motivation (Survey on Instagram Business account users) http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/980
-Entrepreneurial intent is the desire or motivation of an individual to become an entrepreneur and start a business or venture. Among various age groups, Indonesia's Gen Z generation is known to have an interest in entrepreneurship that is below the average at 1.60% of 18.94%. To increase entrepreneurial interest among Gen Z, an approach is needed, as well as the creation of an environment that develops entrepreneurial potential. This study used a survey distributed online and in person to 115 randomly selected respondents, with a response rate of 50.4%, and 73 responses were recorded. However, only 58 respondents provided varied assessments and met the sampling criteria. The analysis technique used regression through SPSS. The results showed that perceived behavioral control has a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurial intention, with an R value of 0.416 and R² of 0.173 (17.3% influence), and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating strong predictive power. In contrast, subjective norms did not significantly affect entrepreneurial intention, as shown by a significance value of 0.22. However, when combined, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms jointly have a significant effect, with an R value of 0.477 and R² of 0.143. These findings highlight that increasing perceived control over entrepreneurship is key to boosting entrepreneurial intention among Indonesia’s Gen Z.
Wulan Fauziah, Galih Abdul Fatah Maulani, Isnawati . ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/workflow/index/980/5 http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/980 Tue, 05 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis Of Financial Distress At PT Bank NTT (Period 2020-2023) http://ejournals.fkwu.uniga.ac.id/index.php/BIEJ/article/view/1017
Fransiska Tri Marta Sari Ngganggus, Pius Bumi Kellen, Junita C. It is proven that employee work quality, discipline, and productivity are improved by leaders who communicate openly, set an example, and motivate their subordinates. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who are consumers of street food across various areas in Garut Regency. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that price, vendor image, physical environment, and perceived nutritional value have a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, while location does not show a significant influence.
